The focus of this multi medium painting is the circle of glass fused to copper which is attached to the canvas creating a raised area. The painting emanates from this point. This old technique of copper enameling brings an unexpected element to such a contemporary painting. You, the viewer, are looking down at earth in this dramatic and imaginative painting. My paintings reflect my region of the country. My home is at one of the highest elevations in the county. From my home to the Ohio River is less than 4 miles. When I was a child I dreamed of being able to fly. My paintings are a reflection of those childhood dreams. This painting is an abstract of rivers, the towns build around the rivers and landscapes. The painting is mounted onto the 2 part painted frame. The custom frame was designed to compliment the painting with additional elevations.

This painting is protected with a UV Varnish to prevent fading from sunlight.
