This is an acrylic painting on canvas. Areas of the canvas are highly textured with impasto paint. The final painting is washed with a gold interference paint that makes the painting glow when the lighting changes. My paintings reflect my region of the country. My home is at one of the highest elevations in the county. From my home to the Ohio River is less than 4 miles. When I was a child I dreamed of being able to fly. My paintings are a reflection of those childhood dreams. This painting is an abstract of rivers, the towns build around the rivers and landscapes.

The star of the painting is the beautifully made solid maple wood frame.

The 2 pieces can be spaced as far apart as you would like or they can hang like 2 fitting pieces of a puzzle. Either way, this is an interesting painting.
