Golden Sunrise glows like a perfect new day. My paintings reflect my region of the country. My home is at one of the highest elevations in the county. From my home to the Ohio River is less than 4 miles. When I was a child I dreamed of being able to fly. My paintings are a reflection of those childhood dreams. This painting is an abstract of rivers, the towns build around the rivers and landscapes. The painting is mounted onto the 2 part wooden frame. The custom frame was designed to compliment the painting with additional elevations.

The painting is acrylic on canvas. You, the viewer, see earth from above. There are abstract references to land forms and geography.

The beautiful frame brings this painting to a new level of interest. The precisely made frame which was designed for this painting is made of Pennsylvania cherry wood and sycamore wood with solid purple heart wooden circles.

The canvas is protected with a UV absorbing varnish.
