Acrylic on canvas. Areas of the canvas have heavy impasto paint for texture and interest and other areas have delicate gold foil to look like reflections of the sun. My paintings reflect my region of the country. My home is at one of the highest elevations in the county. From my home to the Ohio River is less than 4 miles. When I was a child I dreamed of being able to fly. My paintings are a reflection of those childhood dreams. This painting is an abstract of rivers, the towns build around the rivers and landscapes. The painting is mounted onto the 2 part painted frame. The custom frame was designed to compliment the painting with additional elevations.
