Fragment #15 Clock- 26”H x 30”W

This clock is made with acid etched metal art and Pennsylvania cherry wood. The metal art is aluminum. In a process designed by the artists, artwork is painted on the metal with an artists brush. The metal is then submerged into an acid bath where the artwork is left in high relief. The metal undergoes lots of hand work and buffing to bring out the jewelry like finish on the metal. The wood is finished with a permanent hand rubbed oil finish. The clock runs on a reliable Seiko Quartz movement and one AA Battery.
